Playa d'en Bossa Holidays - In its infancy, Playa d'en Bossa was simply a (pretty boring!) continuation of Figueretas (in itself almost a continuation of Ibiza Town!); in its middle growth years, it was a mainstream family style resort and, in latter years, Playa d'en Bossa is busy, vibrant, geared for families and also a hot club scene - so, a clever crowd pleaser! The resort has a marvellous sandy beach which is truly the star in its firmament. Ideal for families with children, the soft sand, clean clear bathing waters and a myriad beach bars to slake unquenchable thirsts, ensures the "playa" is the daytime hot spot. A vast array of watersports also attracts the adventurous crowd who can't sit still but need to flaunt their sporty skills with windsurfing, waterskiing and parasailing (or banana boat riding for the adrenalin junkies!). Further south, the beach of Ses Salines is where the beautiful people gather to pose and be seen. Amazingly, albeit that Playa d'en Bossa is a great family resort, the nightlife has stepped up a few notches recently and it is now considered the 3rd party town on the island after San Antonio and Ibiza Town. So, ravers unite and get clubbing! Bora Bora on the beach is well renowned and lures many top class DJ's. A few clubs just close for a couple of hours, so there is potential here for non stop partying. Testament to the strong infrastructure is the fact that it can accommodate such disparate groups of holidaymakers side by side and truly, families and the wild and wacky are welcome here. The resort has a super selection of bars, cafes and restaurants, so palate and pocket can choose with abandon! The shops are also great, so you can take a breather with some retail therapy. Even early evening, Playa d'en Bossa is alive and swarming with happy strollers or cocktail sippers; kiddies all rosy cheeked and spruced up in their new holiday clobber and the ravers decked out in high vis colours and bling. All of human life is here. It would seem therefore that Playa d'en Bossa can produce the goods to satisfy even the most diverse requirements. You just need to visit and check it out!
