How can I make a booking?

You can either make a booking online via this website (www.ClickandGo.com) or call us on (01) 637 1699. However, you must have an email address in order to book with us as thereafter all your booking details and travel documents will be sent electronically to that address.

 


How do I pay a deposit?

Just pass us your credit card or laser details or enter your details in the relevant box on our website. We are not a public office, so you cannot personally call in to us. We will accept cheques for balance payments only and these may be posted to: ClickandGo.com, Harmony Court, Harmony Row, Dublin 2.


What happens next?

A booking confirmation will be issued. You must check this very carefully to ensure that all details are correct and as you intended to book. Check that all names are correctly spelled and that all names correspond with Passport names. Any changes later on may not be possible or may prove expensive as airlines can charge hefty amendment fees. So, if you notice any discrepancy, you must inform us immediately and we will re-issue a new booking confirmation with the changes duly noted.


When is my balance due?

If you’re booking a 'Build your own Holiday' with us, your balance is due 8 weeks before departure. If you book accommodation only, then the balance is due 4 weeks before departure. Failure to pay your balance on or before the due date may result in the cancellation of your booking and invoking of cancellation charges.


What credit cards do you accept?

We accept Visa, Mastercard and Laser cards.


Do you charge me a booking fee if I pay by credit card?

No. You will not be charged a booking fee by ClickandGo.com


How do I cancel my booking?

You must inform ClickandGo.com of your cancellation in writing as soon as is practicably possible. This must be informed to us by email to cancellations@clickandgo.com

Can I change a name on my booking /change the booking date of accommodation only?

Yes, you can, but an amendment fee of €15 will be charged for every name change that is made. Accommodation date changes may be made subject to availability in the property and subject to an amendment fee of €15 per person on the booking.


I want a holiday duration not covered in your Special Offers / Build Your Own Holiday section, so do you cover 21 nights or other durations?

Yes, and you can access this in the “Build your Own Holiday” section of our website and book it from there. We offer durations of up to 6 weeks.

Do you have any winter holidays available?

Our flights / holidays are only loaded until 31 October; however, we have a range of winter holidays from 01 November available (approx mid July).


When do I receive my documents / flight tickets?

Flight tickets and accommodation vouchers are normally issued approx. 7 days before the scheduled departure date, providing the holiday has been paid in full. These will be sent to you via email. Read these documents carefully as you need to follow the instructions in order to check-in online with your chosen airline and book your bags online.


The name on my flight ticket is incorrect. How can I change it?

You must contact the airline directly to advise them and you may be charged an amendment fee.


Can I change my date of travel?

Any changes you wish to make must be informed to us at the earliest opportunity. Changes or cancellations can vary widely depending on the type of airline ticket you have purchased and you may be liable for an amendment / administration charge.

 

Can I access my booking details online?

Yes. Just log on to our website and enter your reference to access your booking details. This will enable you to check the details and pay your balance online. This facility will be introduced from mid July approx.

Are there any extra charges after the Total Price shown – is this the final price?

The total price indicated on our booking confirmation will be the final price you will pay unless totally extenuating circumstances arise. In the event of legislation by any Government (of countries to which we operate, including Ireland) to impose VAT duty or any taxes whatsoever, which have the effect of increasing the cost of your holiday, we will regretfully have to pass these charges to you. Any local taxes, levies or similar required by local authorities abroad to be paid personally by every visitor.


Can I check-in for my flight online?

Absolutely, you must check-in online for Ryanair flights. Just follow the airline’s step by step guide and print off your boarding card. There is an extra charge with Ryanair at the airport if you have not checked-in online and presented your own boarding card.


Is it cheaper for me to book directly on the airline’s website?

No. The prices displayed on ClickandGo.com are exactly the same prices as the airlines offer, so you do not risk an over charge.

 

What happens if there is a change to my original flight schedule?

Airlines do make changes to flight timings from time to time. These changes can occur through operational reasons, adverse weather conditions etc. Such changes are obviously beyond our control. If such changes do occur, we will make every effort to contact you at the earliest opportunity.


If I book my flight through ClickandGo.com, is my contract with you or the specific airline?

The flight arrangements made on our site are made through the relevant airline and you must therefore comply with that airline’s specific terms & conditions in relation to check-in times, baggage restrictions etc. If you book your flights directly with the airline, then your contract is with that particular airline.


Does my reservation include the cost of baggage carriage?

No. All baggage items must be checked-in directly with the airline and you will be charged according to the relevant airline’s tariffs. Ryanair - €15 each way with 15 kg allowance (June, Sept, Oct) / €20 each way (July, August); Aer Lingus - €15 each way all season with 20 kg allowance. Please note baggage charges may change without notice. Ryanair has now introduced a heavier bag allowance – 20 kg bag at €25 each way (June, Sept, Oct.) or €30 each way in July and August.


Do I have to book my baggage in online?

No, you don’t have to; however, it is more expensive to book your baggage in at the airport. It is cheaper to book online. You must do this directly with the relevant airline and advise your baggage specifications. We cannot do this for you. You must manage your baggage directly with the airline and adhere to their restrictions and guidelines.


What are the baggage restrictions?

Due to security reasons, there are rules on what you can carry in your hand baggage in relation to lotions, liquids etc. Please log on to www.daa.ie for full details. Airlines have different baggage restrictions, but as a general rule of thumb: 1 bag per person is allowed on board as cabin baggage and this must not exceed 10 kgs. For checked-in baggage, it is wise to check the website of the relevant airline as each carrier imposes different rules and these can change without notice. You must adhere to the airline’s rulings as strict guidelines are imposed and hefty penalties can be incurred for excess baggage. Also remember that extra items of baggage such as golf clubs, surf boards, bicycles etc are charged over and above your baggage allowance. Kiddies’ pushchairs are carried free of charge.


I’m not an Irish citizen, so do I need a passport or can I use my national ID card?

Every passenger must hold a current, valid Passport. You will not be allowed to board a flight without a Passport.


Do I need a visa?

If you are a foreign national and not an Irish citizen, you may need a visa to visit certain countries in Europe. You must contact your own Embassy or relevant Consulate to determine the documentation you need for travel. It is the sole responsibility of each traveller to ensure he/she is in possession of the correct documentation. No liability shall attach to ClickandGo.com for the failure of any traveller to secure this information.

 

How early do I need to check-in at the airport for my flight?

For all flights to Europe, you must present yourself at the airport at least 2 hours before the scheduled time of departure.


Are the timings on my flight tickets in Irish time zones?

All the times on your itinerary are in the local time zone of the departing and arriving airport (eg. Irish time is quoted departing from Dublin and Spanish time when you arrive in Spain).


Can I request seats on the flight together?

You may do so by visiting Aerlingus.com and requesting a pre-booked seat (for which there is a charge); Ryanair does not offer this option as all their flights are free seating.


The airline has given me a PNR. What is a PNR?

A PNR is a Passenger Number Reference. You should keep this information in a safe place as it is your personal identification with the airline and it is your Booking Reference.


What happens if I lose my flight tickets?

You will be charged an administration fee for the re-issue of a flight ticket. The cost may vary and it depends on the airline in question.


I have special needs. Should I inform the airline?

Yes, absolutely. You must inform the airline of any special needs which you have (eg. wheelchair assistance etc.) as specific arrangements must be put in place. It is vital that you advise the airline of your needs at the time of booking. Dietary requirements will not be taken into consideration as airlines do not provide in-flight catering anymore. You may, of course, purchase snacks and refreshments on board. Very few airlines provide oxygen for passengers who might require a supply on board for medical reasons and passengers are not permitted to supply their own. If you have a condition which requires the use of hypodermic needles (eg Diabetes), you may be asked for medical proof that you must carry needles in your hand baggage.


Up to what stage of pregnancy will the airline accept my booking?

You should always travel under medical advice and make sure you have permission to fly. Most airlines will refuse to carry a passenger who is over 28 weeks into her pregnancy. However, you must contact the relevant airline for their particular guidelines / restrictions in this regard.


What financial security do I have with ClickandGo.com?

ClickandGo.com is licenced and fully bonded by the Commission for Aviation Regulation - Licence No: TA 700. All our clients are fully protected and, in the unlikely event of insolvency, all monies will be secured under the bonding arrangement and any necessary repatriation arrangements made through the Commission for Aviation Regulation.

Do I need travel insurance?

Yes, absolutely. You must ensure you are adequately insured before travel. When you book a holiday with us and If you do not choose the insurance cover provided by ClickandGo.com, you may be asked for proof that you hold an alternative policy offering at least the same level of cover. Remember, medical costs abroad can run into thousands of euro, so don’t get caught out. What are the various different room types available in the accommodation?

Hotels offer single, twin, double and triple rooms, all with private bathroom. Some rooms are sold on a “room only” basis (i.e. no breakfast provided), B/B basis (bed and breakfast), H/B basis (half board – breakfast and dinner), F/B basis (full board – breakfast, lunch and dinner) or All Inclusive (all meals, snacks, local soft and alcoholic drinks and, frequently, some in-house entertainment/activities). Apartments may be studios (bedsitter type) and 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments with self catering facilities.


I want to book a particular hotel, but I’ve tried lots of different dates and none are available. What is the problem?

It is possible that the hotel is fully booked or we may be loading new rates from that hotel. Please email us on info@ClickandGo.com or call us on 01 637 1699 and we’ll do our best to help you.


I’ve booked accommodation only with you, but my flight has been cancelled. What do I do now?

You must contact us immediately to advise any new travel plans or, if your flight has been cancelled and no re-booking made, you must advise us of the cancellation of your accommodation only portion. Amendment / cancellation fees may apply depending on time of change / cancellation. Please refer to our contract Terms & Conditions for full details.


Can I book extra nights at my hotel?

Yes, give us details of your dates and extra duration and we can process this on your behalf, depending on availability.


I had booked additional nights in my hotel, but now have an earlier flight home. Can I cancel the extra nights in the hotel?

I’d like to request a sea view in my hotel room. How do I do this?

You can do this by following the procedure as directed on our website, but remember that a request cannot be guaranteed. All special requests are at the discretion of the relevant hotel and are subject to availability.


My friend wants to join our group. We’re due to travel next month. How can we add her to the booking? Will this affect the cost of our apartment?

You may add an extra person to a booking providing we have availability in the accommodation and a flight is available. However, the price may change depending on the flight price available at that time and the “sharing” price in the relevant property.


We will be travelling with children and an infant. How does this work?

Children must be under the age of 12 years and infants must be under the age of 2 years on the last day of travel. You must specify the ages of all children and infants at the time of booking. Failure to disclose correct ages may result in the levy of extra charges by airlines and / or hotels.


What are the cancellation charges?

If you’ve booked accommodation only with us and need to cancel, the following cancellations charges shall apply:
Up to 72 hours before departure, any deposit paid shall be forfeited.
Within 72 hours of departure or less – 100% cancellation charges.
All bookings for 1 night only are subject to 100% cancellation charges.
Cancellations made directly to our accommodation providers are not acceptable. All cancellations must be made directly to ClickandGo.com in writing or online.
If you’ve booked a holiday with us or if you’ve built your own holiday on our site and need to cancel, the following cancellations charges shall apply:
More than 56 days before the departure date, any deposit paid shall be forfeited.
Within 29 – 56 days of departure: 50% of the cost of the holiday is forfeited.
Within 22 – 28 days of departure: 70% of the cost of the holiday is forfeited.
Within 8 -21 days of departure: 90% of the cost of the holiday is forfeited.
Within 7 days of departure: 100% of the cost of the holiday is forfeited.
All cancellation charges apply to each person covered by a booking. Any insurance premium paid is not refundable.


Do I get a voucher for my accommodation?

You will receive an email after you have paid your final balance. You may then download and print your accommodation voucher before departure. This is for presentation to your hotel on arrival. You will only receive your voucher when the balance of monies is fully paid. The hotel may not accept your reservation if you do not present the voucher on arrival, so keep in a safe place with your travel documentation.


What do I do if the voucher does not arrive?

The voucher will arrive when the final balance of monies has been paid. If it fails to materialise, then please check your junk mail; alternatively, contact us so that one of our staff may resolve the problem for you.


Can I book an airport transfer? How will I find it?

You can tick a box on our website to indicate that you wish to book a transfer. Make sure you book either one-way or return, depending on your needs. When you arrive at the relevant airport, you will be met by a driver/ representative bearing a ClickandGo.com sign displaying your name.


What are the accommodation details as I need to leave a contact number with my family?

You will be given full details (address and tel. number) of your accommodation when you have paid the final balance on your booking. This will be in the form of an accommodation voucher sent to you via email. Retain this document as you may need to produce it on arrival at your chosen accommodation.


What happens if an emergency arises when I’m abroad? Do I have any local contact?

When you book a holiday with ClickandGo.com, you will be provided with a telephone contact of our local agent in your destination whom you may contact in case of emergency. Remember also that the reception staff at your chosen property are all trained to assist in the event of any emergency.


I’m interested in booking car hire. Can I do that with ClickandGo.com?

Yes, you can book car hire on our site. We are agents for Car Trawler, a reputable and well established car rental company who can fulfil all your car hire needs. There is a dedicated area on our website where you enter all your details and Car Trawler will correspond directly with you. Car Trawler will respond to requests, deal with all details of your booking and effect payments.


How can I subscribe to the newsletter?

You may subscribe to our newsletter by ticking the relevant box on our website. You will then be privy to all our special offers and great deals as soon as they are advertised.


Can I unsubscribe from the newsletter?
