The hotel offers accommodation in different elegantly designed classic rooms, some overlooking the hotel courtyard whilst those on South Street overlook the open theatre. This comfortable Hotel is located in Valletta. This elegant 17th Century home had originally been part of the earlier estate of the Auberge D'Italie, one of the langues of the Order of St John. Recent research dates the palazzo back to 1633 when it was used by various knights of Italian descent. and was then known as Casa Pensa. In 1805, after the departure from Malta of the Knights of St John, the British Governor granted ownership of the palazzo to Sir Giuseppe Nicola Zamitt, for services to the Crown. In recent years, the present Count of Mont'Alto, a descendant of Sir Giuseppe Nicola Zamitt after whom the palazzo is now named, embarked on a project to enlarge it and restore the entire property to its former glory.Opened in 2018, Domus Zamittello has 21 elegant and comfortable rooms, out of which six suites, five of which are spacious duplexes. Valletta

The quaint walled-city of Valletta, on the island of Malta, is steeped in history and culture. The relatively small size of the city means that it's easy to explore the cobbled, winding streets on foot and bask in the shadows of the fascinating Baroque architecture. You'll be following in the footsteps of emperors, heads of state, artists, poets and actors who have all arrived at the city's Grand Harbour at one time or another.

A holiday in Valletta is akin to exploring an open-air museum, with heritage sites like St John's Cathedral, monuments and priceless artefacts at every turn. With its bastion walls, limestone buildings and wooden balconies, the city is a breath-taking setting for the many cultural events from opera and theatre that are held here throughout the year. Quaint cafés and bars that time forgot are dotted around the streets, with plenty of vantage points to people watch and enjoy the lovely local feel of the fortified capital.

We offer cheap holidays with direct flights to Valletta and a great range of accommodation to suit every budget.

Tailor your city break to suit you. Change your room type, flights & add baggage. If required you can also add transfers & insurance.
