This extremely popular Thai-themed adventure waterpark is the largest waterpark in Europe and is located in between Costa Adeje and Playa de las Americas. Named ‘Best Water Park’ in 2017 at the TripAdvisor Traveller’s Choice Awards, it’s a great choice for those looking for a fun-filled and adrenaline packed activity, from 28m water slides to a lazy Mai Thai River. Entrance fees are around €37 for a full day at the water park and child tickets slightly less at around €23.

Loro Parque

Dolphin Show in Loro Parque in Tenerife

Loro Parque is a must visit when in Tenerife! This wildlife park is located in Puerto de la Cruz. With some great entertainment from sea lines and parrot shows to amazing dolphin shows, which are known to be one of the best dolphin shows in Europe, this is one which will most definitely not disappoint. This self-guided attraction gives great flexibility and is definitely worth the visit! Especially with great entrance fees from €37 for a full day entrance to the park.

Twin tickets are also available for Siam Park & Loro Park which will give you a little discount, costing around €65. Both parks are open 7 days a week so there is plenty of time to visit both!

Jeep Tours

Masca Village in Tenerife

This fun packed jeep tour is something different than your usual tour! This will take you away from your beach setting for the day and bring you around the volcanic hills of Teide National Park and the hidden mountain village of Masca.

If you’re into hiking this is the perfect opportunity to hike the trail in Masca, easy to walk and you are even rewarded with the beautiful views of the cliffs of Los Gigantes, which are just outstanding. This costs around €55 per person

Tenerife also has some great bars and beach clubs for those looking to relax and enjoy chilled vibes during the day by sipping on some cocktails in the sun and party away by night.  Two of the best beach clubs are Monkey Beach and Papagayo Beach Club. These are found in the lively resort of Playa de las Americas. Food is also served at these beach clubs and cocktails cost around €6 each.

You can also just unwind by your pool, soak up the sun on the beach or try out some watersports!

I’m thinking of bringing my Mam to Tenerife for a chill out holiday. Could you suggest what part of Tenerife would be best for beaches, walking etc just a relaxing holiday but yet close to all restaurants shops etc?

    Thanks
