Universal Epic Universe is set up to open in 2025 in Orlando, Florida and Universal Orlando Resort have announced that this highly anticipated new theme park will be home to five immersive worlds. These worlds will transport you to alternate realities beyond anything you have ever experienced and will no doubt feature thrilling rollercoasters and rides, excellent character theming and plenty of surprises around every twist and turn.
While details around what guests can expect within each of the five worlds that will make up Epic Universe remain vague, Universal Orlando Resort have revealed what the theming of the world’s will be. From the excitement of Mario Kart to the mystery of the Dark Universe, there is a lot of surprises still to come, but here is everything we know so far.
Celestial Park
Celestial Park is the cosmic heart of Universal Epic Universe, and it is a world that promises to be full of sensory delights. Celestial Park will also be home to some thrilling rides, excellent entertainment, dining options and so much more. While details have been kept under lock and key on the world’s mentioned below, Universal Orlando Resort have given us some insight into the exciting attractions we can enjoy in Celestial Park. For the rollercoaster fans, Starfall Racers is going to be a coaster on your bucket list. This thrilling dual-launch coaster will hurl you across cosmos at the speed of light. And for something a little tamer, though exciting in other ways, check out the Constellation Carousel, an imaginative ride that will whirl and twirl you through the stars. If immersive dining is your thing, add Atlantic to your list. This undersea adventure is fine dining done differently. Enjoy exceptional seafood and steak surrounded by giant illuminated fish as they swim gracefully above you.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic
It’s incredibly exciting to see that The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is being extended to Epic Universe. With a presence in both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, it’s a natural fit to continue the witchcraft and wizardry of this world to Epic Universe. Not much detail has been released just yet on what visiting wizards and witches (and muggles) can expect in this new Harry Potter world, but what we do know so far is that visitors will be transported through various time zones from 1920s Paris to the 1990s British Ministry. The world will give all who visit the opportunity to explore international wizarding communities and the connection they each share to make The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic so special.
SUPER NINTENDO WORLD
Having already opened in Universal’s Hollywood and Japan Parks, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD is coming for Orlando! This exciting new world will give you the opportunity to venture through Donkey Kong Country, challenge others on the exciting Mario Kart ride and so much more. This world brings Nintendo’s most loved games to life and offers visitors a new way to play.
How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk
Like some of the other worlds, not much detail has been released yet on How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, but what you can expect is immersion in a world that will give you the chance to soar with dragons high above the world and the colourful Viking village as you take part in wild boat battles, Viking worthy feasts and so much more.
Dark Universe
Horror fans rejoice! Dark Universe promises to make all your nightmares come alive as you explore the shadowy landscape that honours the greats of horror. From the experiments of Dr. Victoria Frankenstein to the monsters you don’t want to meet around a dark corner, Dark Universe might just be the most spine-tingling, mysterious world in not just Universal Orlando Resort but in all of the world.
Universal Epic Universe Hotels
There will also be three hotels located onsite at Universal Epic Universe. Universal Helios Grand Hotel will offer the most dazzling of views of the park, while offering guests a décor that features celestial patterns and constellations combined with a Mediterranean look and feel. This hotel is set up open in 2025. Universal Stella Nova Resort dares you to dream and explore. This exciting hotel is inspired by the vastness of the unknown universe. It is set to open in January 2025. Finally, Universal Terra Luna Resort will open in February 2025.
