Rathausplatz: The largest and most iconic Christmas Market in Vienna runs from 15 November to 26 December 2025 in front of the Rathaus (Town Hall). Inside, families will find festive activities for children, while outside the square transforms into a sparkling wonderland of ice skating, fairground rides, and over 150 stalls brimming with decorations, artisan crafts, mulled wine, and apple strudel.
Maria-Theresien-Platz: Just a short stroll from Rathausplatz, the Christmas Market at Maria-Theresien-Platz opens from 20 November to 31 December 2025. Nestled between the Art History and Natural History Museums, it features around 70 stalls offering handcrafted goods, traditional Austrian foods, and warming drinks. Its elegant setting makes it a favorite for locals and visitors alike.
Schönbrunn Palace: From 23 November 2025 to 4 January 2026, the forecourt of Schönbrunn Palace becomes a regal backdrop for one of Vienna’s most enchanting Christmas markets.
