Albir Holidays - Albir is a lovely little resort, situated just north of Benidorm and almost midway to the very picturesque village of Altea, providing the perfect antidote to life's stresses and a lovely Costa Blanca holiday venue.
Laid back, friendly and quite charming, the village provides plenty of infrastructure for the holidaymaker, yet is a million miles from any sign of brashness or overt commercialism. Costa Blanca holiday resorts can be robust and lively, but Albir tends towards the relaxing end. Certainly, you'll find plenty of pavement cafes, busy bars and local and international restaurants and the promenade is tailor made for evening "ramblas" to pose or watch the world go by, but there is still a nice flavour of local life here.
Wide tree-lined boulevards give a sense of spaciousness and, of course, the gold sprinkled beach has won the coveted Blue Ribbon award since 2001. Not a bad accolade. In the area of Alfaz del Pi, Albir is only 20 minutes drive from Benidorm which is probably the best known of all the Costa Blanca holiday resorts, but take a trip also to the lovely resort of Calpe. You won't be disappointed.
There are no flights to Albir, but frequent direct flights to Alicante bring lovely Costa Blanca holidays closer to us.
