The Gabarda hotel is the main building of the HOTEL GABARDA & COMPLEX hotel resort, located in the heart of the Palmanova area, a few meters from its main beaches. It is made up of 30 rooms of two categories; (superior rooms and premium rooms). The building has three floors without elevator. The Gabarda hotel is where you will find the main services of the complex; the reception, the safe rental service, the bar open from 8:00 am to 2:00 am in the morning, a snack bar where daily breakfasts are offered during the summer season and one of the two swimming pools in the complex. The Hotel Gabarda will remain closed during the winter season (from November to mid-April).
Location
The Gabarda is a approx. 350 metres (3 min walk) from the main award-winning Palma Nova beach. It is surrounded by cafes, bars, restaurants and shops and is just a 15 min walk from the lively resort of Magalluf, where all the disco bars, clubs and vibrant night-life can be found. Palma Nova hosts a variety of amenities for sports such as diving, gyms, tennis, football and rugby. Nearby are many attractions such as water parks, mini golf and dinner shows. The bus stop is 200 metres from the hotel door. Palma Airport is approx. 20 km (20 min drive) & Palma City centre is approx. 14 km.

Palma Nova holidays - A little gem of a resort, Palma Nova is the more laid back and definitely more sedate relative of neighbouring Magaluf. Happily lacking some of the brasher elements, the resort nonetheless has a lively vibe and some pretty swinging nightlife. This is a Majorca resort which is established and reputable.
Primarily, a sun resort must have an excellent beach. Palma Nova does. The beach is long and sandy and is flanked by a most attractive promenade, well planted with swaying,palm trees. In fact, the promenade stretches all the way into Magaluf, so you can benefit from two resorts rolled into one. What starts as a leisurely evening stroll could change tempo and end up in BCM disco until the early hours! A close neighbour of Santa Ponsa too, a further change of scene is possible.
The locals all emerge for a "rambla" on the prom too, so you can watch the Spanish world go by, admire their fashion sense and pat their little pooches. The resort has a great selection of shops and window shopping is a favourite pastime before dinner. Talking of which, there are some brilliant restaurants with local cooking, Mediterranean fare or international dishes - literally, every taste and palate is catered to. Holidays to Majorca need not all be frenetic because Portals Nous can be laid back as can Porto Colom on the east coast.
There are pubs, cafes and bars too. Many are quiet, romantic little hideaways and others have live music or giant screen TV - just in case you absolutely cannot miss a football match or X Factor final! Back on the beach, you can gaze at the hordes of holidaymakers embarking on the glass bottom boat excursion (or join them!) or enjoy a swim in the balmy ocean.
Take a pedalo ride to top up the tan and exercise those thigh muscles or go windsurfing or parascending for the ultimate adrenalin rush. Palma Nova is a resort that seems to suit many age groups. It can be quiet and reflective or wild and wonderful. Whether you seek relaxing, romantic evenings or crazy party nights, this could be the one for you. The other constant will be the sun - lots of it!
There are no flights to Palma Nova, but direct flights to Palma bring Majorca holidays within a few hours of home!
