Magaluf is a legend in its own lifetime! On the south coast of this beautiful island, the resort of Magaluf is doubtless one of Majorca's holiday resorts which need no introduction. A nightlife mecca, Magaluf is one of those Spanish destinations where holidaymakers might not get much sunshine hours as they dance the night away and slumber the daylight hours away! Home to world renowned BCM nightclub, this venue gets going in the early hours and attracts thousands of glammed up hopefuls every night of the week. Music to suit the most eclectic of tastes and dance rhythms for serious shakers, this is the place to see and be seen. Magaluf holidays are not for shrinking violets!
The other leading lady in Magaluf is the wonderful sandy beach. In recent years, the whole area was renovated and a very attractive promenade was constructed and lined with swaying palm trees - the perfect venue for an evening stroll or a more energetic skateboard outing!
Otherwise, holidays to Magaluf are a a mishmash of tourist shops, mini-markets, restaurants, bars and pubs and the resort comes to life after dark. Almost like a conjoined twin with Palma Nova, the two resorts lie side by side, so a quieter side of life can be experienced as well. Take the local bus and go to the pretty little resort of Portals Nous and enjoy a fun experience in Marineland watching the dolphin and parrot show. Or, go in the other direction and visit Santa Ponsa which is only a few km away.
There are no direct flights to Magaluf, but frequent direct flights from Dublin to Palma guarantee you're only a few hours away from the amazing action of Magaluf.
