Impressive from its first sighting, the Lopesan Hotel Costa Meloneras is a beautiful property with excellent on-site amenities. The hotel's seafront location is wonderful as it sits at the edge of Maspalomas and the little resort of Meloneras has a shopping centre and lovely local and international eateries. Landscaping in the complex is superb and the infinity pool with a mini sand beach is simply delightful.
The foyer and public areas are smart and stylish and the facilities of shopping arcade, bars and lounges, large buffet restaurant with thematic food stalls, 3 a la Carte restaurants, and several pool areas are second to none. The hotel also offers daytime activities and a Kids Club (for 4-12 year olds) and there is nightly entertainment and of course free WiFi.
The OM Spa Costa Meloneras (for adults over 18 years only and with an extra charge) is top class and a winning feature to revive body and soul (floating pool, Himalayan Salt Cave, Ice World, steam bath, Kneipp area/pool and more).
All Rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. All are modern and have air-conditioning, Smart TV, WIFI and modern bathroom.

Costa Meloneras holidays - Almost a satellite resort of Maspalomas, the little resort of Costa Meloneras has a super soft silky sand beach and a smattering of local eateries. The Lighthouse is a well known landmark in the area and the famous sand dunes of Maspalomas are only a few minutes walk away, both very typical features of Gran Canaria holidays.
Costa Meloneras has become quite upmarket in recent years and the construction of some very smart and stylish hotels has helped to keep this trend buoyant. Proximity to Maspalomas and, of course, Playa del Ingles, is an advantage for extra nightlife or shopping options.
However, there is plenty to be getting on with in Meloneras itself. There's a great shopping centre with a selection of lovely restaurants and the larger hotels nearly all have their own entertainment programme in the evenings. Holidays to Gran Canaria can really be what you want them to be! The nearby resort of Maspalomas can be treated as a continuation of Meloneras, so you can have 2 resorts rolled into one! The golf course in Maspalomas is also a huge draw, so shine those clubs and hit down that fairway - what a pleasure to play in warm temperatures! So, while the kids play in the sand, you can avoid the sand (bunkers!).
Travel to Gran Canaria is easy these days with direct flights into Las Palmas and a great choice of hotels in San Agustin, Mogan, Playa del Ingles and Maspalomas.
